Vivo V40 5G Can Stay Submerged in Water for Up to 30 Minutes
Vivo has addressed the common issue of smartphones getting damaged in sudden rain by introducing the new Vivo V40 5G, part of its V-series. The phone can remain unaffected even after being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes.
Equipped with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance technology, the Vivo V40 5G can withstand more than just rain; it remains functional even after being dropped into water. The smartphone can survive submersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes.
Starting from October 6, the Vivo V40 5G is available for purchase at any Vivo showroom or e-store. The smartphone boasts a 50-megapixel Zeiss triple camera lens, Zeiss Cinematic Portrait Video, Zeiss Style Bokeh, Zeiss Multifocal Portrait, a 120Hz refresh rate 3D curved display, a 5500mAh BluVolt battery, 80W flash charging, and IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance technology.
For the first time in the V-series, Vivo has collaborated with Zeiss to integrate its lenses into the camera, thanks to joint efforts from the Vivo-Zeiss Research and Development team. Zeiss, a globally renowned optics company with 178 years of expertise, has contributed to making the Vivo V40 5G the slimmest design in the series, measuring just 7.58mm in thickness and weighing only 190 grams.
The Vivo V40 5G comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It features a glass back cover and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for locking and unlocking. The phone is available in two color variants: Nebula Purple and Moonlight White, with a unique Gemini Ring design on the camera module.
